His last placement was at the Church of All Nations, Carlton. He brings a broad understanding of the church and a legal background from his former career.

Mr Ben Calder
Ben was raised as a Uniting Church in Australia adherent in the Abbotsford, West Brunswick and Brunswick congregations. Ben has worked and volunteered at a number of not-for-profit organisations in Australia and as a Research Assistant to various legal professionals. He also spent some time in Vietnam teaching English. He is currently employed as an Investigation Officer at the office of the Victorian Ombudsman. As an admitted but non-practicing Australian lawyer, he brings a legal background to the Board of Trustees. This is complemented by Honours qualifications in Media Studies and Media and Communication.'
